Group Volunteering

Who Groups Are

Access Books welcomes group volunteers from across the community, including:

  • Companies and corporate teams
  • Faith-based organizations
  • Social and civic groups
  • School, youth, or family groups
  • Community organizations and nonprofits

Group volunteering works well for teams that want to be active, collaborative, and connected to a local school community.

What Group Volunteers Do

Group volunteers participate in the same hands-on work as individual volunteers, including:

  • Moving, organizing, and shelving books
  • Labeling and setting up library collections
  • Assisting with murals or creative elements

Projects are structured so everyone can contribute, regardless of prior experience.

Planning a Group Volunteer Day

Group volunteer opportunities are scheduled around library refurbishment projects and school needs. Group size, timing, and activities are coordinated in advance to ensure a productive and positive experience for both volunteers and schools.

If your group is interested in volunteering together — or exploring sponsorship and partnership opportunities — we’d love to talk.
